Know Your Enemy: Indianapolis Colts, Week 13

A couple of weeks ago I broke my usual text-only Know Your Enemy format and chatted with Brian Bulmer via Google Hangout. It was a success, minus one thing, which was beer. This time I came prepared with a New Holland Cabin Fever Brown Ale.

I was happy that the Titans won last week and temporarily seized the AFC’s final Wild Card spot because I am not a complete masochist. Ryan Fitzpatrick transformed in the past three games from “why did we pay this guy?” to legit gamer. He’s looking like a sneaky fantasy play as well. The defense seems to have regressed a bit, playing a lot of bend-but-don’t break and shutting down wideouts for the most part because they leave tight ends and fullbacks uncovered. Chris Johnson is on pace for his worst season as a pro. Kendall Wright has been a revelation and Justin Hunter finally had that big game.

I’m not confident about this week’s game, even though the Colts have lost their last two non-Titans games by a combined 59 points. This year’s Titans squad doesn’t have that killer instinct. They’ve blown a few big leads, most notoriously the 17-3 first-half advantage on Thursday night two weeks ago.

We chatted about the game and threw in a few fantasy questions to boot because Brian’s a busy guy and has more nuanced opinions than I. Here’s the Hangout.
