Scott Fish Bowl 360: Mitch-a-palooza Division

I felt like Mitch was the weak link of Old School. I don’t feel like this division is weak.

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

I’m @dynastytrades on Twitter and pretty much act as the keeper of trades in dynasty football. I love all types of trades but it is probably my favorite aspect of dynasty.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

All of them. I’m playing to win it all or bust. Beating some of my Twitter brethren on the way wouldn’t hurt either 😉

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I tried to keep my roster high upside within reason. I picked a lot of guys that I viewed having a large ceiling. I went with guys like Philip Dorsett and tyler Lockett who I felt will have an opportunity to break out.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I played poker online professional for over 3 years and was quite successful. I am likely the best poker player in the tournament. 🙂

I would categorize myself as a dynasty nut that fully embraces measurables. I love dissecting data to try and find value where others don’t see it (or choose to ignore it). My favorite thing about fantasy is the relationships I’ve gained, and insights I’ve learned from the community and I’m always interested in answering questions or friendly debates on Twitter (@JayHolmes_FP)

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

All of them. I think we have a super-tough division and just getting out alive will be an extreme challenge.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I basically employed the ‘don’t do what you did last year’ draft strategy. I went QB early and probably cost me some depth elsewhere, but I still have nightmares of riding the ‘Smith Train’ (Alex & Geno) every week last year.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I don’t do it very often anymore, but I’m a halfway decent singer/songwriter.

I’ve been playing fantasy football since a relatively young age — an early teenager I believe. While I do enjoy the competition, I mainly try to have fun with it, even though I do take it pretty seriously sometimes.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I’m going to go with Jacob from Rotoviz, just because of the players he has. I have a strong dislike for Tom Brady and Philip RIvers.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I wanted to get a quarterback early since we’re able to start two of them. Russell Wilson felt a little too early late in the second round, but once the drafts got going I felt better about it. I also wanted to draft receivers early, and I feel like that worked out as well.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

It’s not a talent, but I have a fraternal twin brother.

I am Dr. Roto from Scout Fantasy Sports. You can find me hosting on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio and @DrRoto

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I wish all my competitors the best and hope that they all finish 2nd.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I actually took a QB much earlier than I expected (Andrew Luck-1st round). Needed to get one early and I think Luck is the best.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

My insanely good memory for everything (except what Mrs. Roto asks 🙂

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I find this question difficult to answer since I’m probably gonna go undefeated but i think ill enjoy beating John Obradovich (@jobradovich) the most.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

My strategy wasn’t anything special. I treated #SFB360 like a redraft but bumped QBs up my board. I wanted solid starters with a few boom/bust players on my bench.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I can eat a whole wheel of cheese in just one sitting

Been playing fantasy football for 12 years, mostly local leagues. Just got into the fantasy community online this season so pretty excited for the opportunity to be in Scott Fish Bowl –@JasonTran

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

Justin Huestis, he’s helped me meet a lot of people in the community with his Nasty 26 leagues so of course I would want to beat someone that I consider a friend.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

Definitely wanted to get 2 QBs I was comfortable with early, ended up with Big Ben and Tanny. Then loaded up with proven veterans.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I’m pretty boring in general, but I did do amateur gaming for about 6 years in leagues both on PC and Xbox. I’ve also won 3 local gamestop madden tournaments in the last 4 years.

John Obradovich — Fan

I’ve been playing fantasy football since I was in middle school which is about 15 years. And unfortunately, me being involved in fantasy football on twitter (@jobradovich) makes getting trades done in my home redraft leagues nearly impossible because I apparently have inside information.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I want to take down all 11 teams in my division but beating @dynastyfrank would be the special cherry on top. I am in quite a few dynasty leagues with him, so taking those bragging rights with me to those leagues would be oh so sweet.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I am in a few different superflex leagues so I thought I would have a little bit of an advantage compared to others, but as in my other superflex leagues, each one is so different that its nearly impossible to do anything other than let the draft come to you. I really wanted to make sure I got 2 startable QBs without over drafting too much and a top set of RBs (Lacy/D.Murray) because of the .25 per attempt. I am pretty happy with how things turned out.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

Nothing I can think of that is actually all that interesting but I can listen to a wrestlers theme song from the 80’s to present and name the wrestler.

I also sell liquor for a distributor which some people think is kind of cool but in the end its a job that I hate waking up for each morning.

I’m Kacey (otherwise known as Kacey Kasem – @thekaceykasem), and this will be my 4th year playing fantasy football. I haven’t been playing for as long as most people in SFB360, but what I lack in experience, I make up for in passion.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

Probably Brandon Marianne Lee. I adore her, and Her Fantasy Football is the reason I’m even here… but it would be pretty cool to take down someone who is so fantasy football savvy.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I don’t ever really have a “strategery” when drafting. I usually tell myself I’m going to do it a certain way before the draft starts, and then I go and do it a completely different way. I wanted to draft a quarterback early, but then I went and changed my mind. Drafted Teddy Bridgewater as my first quarterback, so we shall see how that plays out.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I’m a freestyle rapper. I’ve performed on stage numerous times with the band Cobra Starship. Freestyle rapping is one of my favorite things to do, and I definitely enjoy performing in front of people. [Zach note: A freestyle SFB360 rap might be the best thing ever, although you might die if you try to mention all 360 teams.]
