Luis Escalante — 4for4

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

Started playing dynasty fantasy baseball with high school buddies in 2000 and joined my first dynasty fantasy football league in 2001 and the rest is history. I now help 4for4.com with the marketing/business side of things. You can find me on Twitter as @LF.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I can’t get into the playoffs without beating most of the other 11 teams, so I’m looking forward going up against each and every single one!

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I went into the draft wanting to draft top notch WR’s, since we can start up to 7, but that changed quickly once I saw RB’s fly off the board and had to change strategies quickly. After I felt comfortable with the RB’s I drafted, I continued grabbing WR’s and looking for bargains at QB and TE.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I make some AMAZING fluffy pancakes.

Lucas Crocker — Blindside Football

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

My style is not exactly risk-seeking but it is definitely not risk-averse, I’ll take chances on trades, and with draft picks. I love WR more than I should.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I want to take them all down equally!

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I used a WR heavy strategy and decided to fade QB as long as possible. Two months later and I may regret it.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I’m a pretty good juggler…. and I can do the worm.

Dan Hope — BuffaloBillsDraft

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

As an NFL and NFL draft writer for Bleacher Report, I always strive to be ahead of the game in knowing who the up-and-coming stars are in the league. More of a film guy than a numbers guy, I often take chances on young players who I expect me to break out and lead my fantasy football teams to success. Follow me @Dan_Hope for discussion on all things football.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

Everyone. Have to take it one week at a time but ultimately, my goal is to win the big prize.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

Typically, I draft a QB with one of my first two picks in leagues like this one, but I deviated from that strategy this year. Le’Veon Bell in Round 1 and Calvin Johnson in Round 2 were simply too good to pass up. I only ended up drafting one QB I can feel confident about starting every week (Tony Romo), but loaded up on QBs in later rounds—I drafted five QBs, the most of anyone in the More Cowbell division—so that I would have options to utilize for the flex spot.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

Writing about football is easily my best talent these days, if we’re being honest. Before I was even in first grade, I used to be able to recite all the U.S. Presidents in order and knew the capitals of every country, but those regions of my brain are now filled with facts about sports and other more trivial things.

Jeff Melbostad — Dynasty Football Warehouse

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

I’m one of the owners of Dynasty Football Warehouse and a Viking fan who lived in Wisconsin among Packer fans for WAY too long. Follow me on twitter @Jeff_DFW.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I’d like to take down the famous footballguy Jeff Haseley. Jeff has been a good friend of DFW for some time now and there’s nothing as fun as beating your friends. Plus, there can be only one winning “Jeff” in this division!

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

There’s no question that I, like nearly everyone else, wanted two good QBs early. Drafting out of the 6 slot I thought I had a shot at Luck or Rodgers and would’ve been ecstatic had it happened. Unfortunately it didn’t, but that allowed me to nab two stud RBs and I think I still ended up with two good QBs in Stafford and Brady. I think getting RBs early was maybe more important than QB in retrospect so my hand being forced was potentially a good thing.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I make a mean spicy chili.

Brian Malone — Dynasty League Football

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

I write about dynasty for DLF, and I tend to focus on areas where owners can exploit current trends. I’m far from an expert on player evaluation, but I tend to have useful ideas about big-picture strategy.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

I want to beat Adam Gourley, my league mate in Hop Head Dynasty. He’s a strong dynasty owner, and I expect he’ll be a tough out in this league.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

With so many flex spots, my only pre-draft strategy was to ignore TE as long as possible. Once the draft started, I found that WRs were good value early, so I grabbed three in the first four rounds and then took a bunch of shots on potential workhorse RBs. As for QB, I wanted a couple in the QB10-20 range, and that’s what I got with Flacco and Rivers.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

Using “talent” loosely, but I bet that many of my leaguemates would be surprised to learn that I modeled nude for a drawing class as an undergrad.

Wally Spurlin — Fantasy Sharks
Jillian Fisher — FFCouchCoach.com

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

I’m the new girl. I’m a little all over the place this offseason. Auctions, dynasty, bestball, IDP, all new to me coming from playing redraft only for the past 7 years. You can find my drafting on Twitter @msfantasyduo, a little on ffcouchcoach.com, and if Im lucky people let me be a guest on their podcasts.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

Everyone… Maybe one than others. But I’m not telling who…..

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I seem to never follow my strategeries when actually drafting. I meant to go wr/TE heavy and of course QBs, but ended up RB heavy.. I don’t use rankings, I draft players I like according to where I think they will end up on depth charts (since it’s so early).

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I’m a yoga enthusiast, former marine. As odd as that combo sounds it’s true.

Micah James — Fantasy Football Magic Man

Can you give me a two-sentence introduction to your fantasy football “personna”? Feel free to include your Twitter handle.

I’m Micah James, the Fantasy Football MagicMan. You can find me online at ffmagicman.com and on Twitter @FFMagicMan.

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

The only person in my division I even is Wally Spurlin. The rest all seem like nice folks, but I’ll randomly answer “Fan – Adam Gourley”. Watch out Adam, I’m coming for you!!

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

I muddled through last year’s league with Colin Kaepernick as my QB2, so I focused on QB in both rounds 1 and 2. Coming away with Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, I’m very happy with the results. I also used the deep bench to secure basically the entire Patriots’ rushing attack (except for Brandon Bolden and Tyler Gaffney, which means Bill Belichick will use those two early and often).

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I’m damn near unbeatable in SongPop.

Rob Sepulveda — Fan

Jorge Contreras — Fan

I am @JoWatts a 10 year FF rookie. I would never consider myself a vet, publicly anyway, since i am always amazed how little i actually know after listening to the “Experts”. I guess i work too much. =)

Who in your division do you want to take down the most?

Everyone. I don’t know anyone in this division personally so i’m just gonna shoot taking everyone out. Last year i made it to the Conference bracket, so unfortunately my own expectations are already high.

What kind of “strategery” do you plan to employ during this unusual QB flex draft?

Since i was picking out of the 9th spot, i figure i would go RB if one of my top 5 guys fell to me otherwise go WR. Then after that i was just going to read what everyone else was doing and go after best available for my current needs.

What is one non-fantasy football talent that would shock and awe the rest of the league?

I have a small farm in my 2-story townhouse. 1 beagle, 1 cat, 2 birds, 1 rabbit, and now 2 turtles. Also just said “Fare Thee Well” to my Rooster and hamsters.
